Discovery Schoolhouse, Inc. (better known as Discovery Kids) is a private entity, located at Reed-Custer Elementary School. The 2025-2026 school year marks our 19th year in business.

 

Our first decade was spent at Reed-Custer Intermediate School, where we provided a year-round, state-licensed preschool and school-age program. This will be our 9th year operating Discovery Kids Before- and After-School Care at RCES.

 

At Discovery Kids, our mission is to create a safe, caring, and inclusive program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. We aim to help kids build friendships, express their creativity, and have fun through a wide range of activities.

 

Our goal is to ensure that every child feels respected, supported, and encouraged while spending time with friends before and after school.
